I'm glad you were able to watch the original DUNE film back from 1984 and the understanding that you have of knowing that for any book-based film, the director or producers, would eventually haft to remove alot of parts because of film's time duration, especially if the book is like 90 pages long. Even making a sequel like the new ones did, still weren't able to cover many things in the book. But regardless of it not being faithful enough, I grew up watching this film and it's nice to see someone appreciating this DUNE version without trying to compare or criticize it's weird David Lynch style, or choice of actors, etc. I, like you, honestly love it too.

Also they had such a low budget for this movie compared to others, that most of the budget for special effects went into the opening highway massacre. It was leaked to fans which got them a ton of buzz. They didn't have money to do much more, thus the "forgetting the guns." Also, this was technically a FOX movie not Marvel, it was still under FOX ownership.

One thing that caught me all through this reaction: It’s amazingly refreshing to see a pretty girl with REAL eyebrows! Yes!

2 of my favorite movie lines of all time happen on that bridge: 1) “And THAT’S why Regina rhymes with fun.” 2) * body slowly peels off highway sign and falls on car* “That guy was already up there when I got here.” (Technically true)

First time watching your reaction channel… love it, BUT get some movies that have depth. Good Will Hunting, Interstellar, Dune 1&2, Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, Arrival… you get the point

Not every comic book or "graphic novel" is for kids. The film noir style vignette/anthology movie "Sin City" with Bruce Willis was based on a Marvel graphic novel.

Past lives have nothing to do with avatar state…avatar state is when Raava takes over ur body and buffs your powers!!! You don’t use past lives in avatar state. Past lives are just there so when you need help they can talk to you and give you their knowledge. And I feel like past lives wouldn’t know much of the world where Korra lives. I mean the words first avatar didn’t have past lives and he could use avatar state cus it’s RAAVA not other avatars

Zaheer was the only one in his group to spontaneously gain bending. The others never lost their abilities, but were kept in prisons that suppressed their bending. - Gazan is an earth bender (with the sub-bending ability to lava bend) and was kept in a wooden prison in the middle of the ocean where he had no access to earth, which is why Zaheer threw him some rocks during his prison break. - Ming-Hua is a water bender, she was kept in a volcano prison, surrounded by oppressive heat, where any small amount of water would evaporate. So for her prison break, they brought a large supply of water, enough that wouldn't evaporate quickly. - P'Li is a fire bender (and combustion bender) so her prison is so cold that her body temperature is too low to produce a significant amount of fire. I won't say any more about her, even though I'm sure you've already watched the next few episodes.

While Amon will always be my favourite LoK villain just because he ticks all the boxes for things I look for in an intriguing villain, Zaheer isn't far behind and I can totally see why he is the favourite for so many people. You're gonna love him!

The best part of watching Korra reaction videos is watching people's initial reaction to Zuko's return. The backstory to the Republic is that its the land that the Fire Nation conquered first and had been under control of the Fire Nation so long that many Fire Nation and Earth Nation people intermarried and Fire Nation people were native born to that land. As a compromise between the Fire Nation and Earth Nation, the disputed territory was made independent and autonomous. You can see how the Earth Queen would be a little miffed about that but her father the Earth King from ATLA supported the compromise.
